• 溶けたガラスを型にプレスまたは吹き込み、瓶、広口瓶、コップなどの容器を成形する機械を操作し、保守する
• 手動プレスを操作し、ガラスを所定の形に成形する
• 引き上げ窯を操作し、溶けたガラスを連続した板ガラスに加工する
• フロートガラス製造設備を操作し、監視する
• ガラスやガラス製品を研削、穴あけ、研磨、面取り、装飾、洗浄、つや出しする仕上げ機械を操作し、保守する
• プレス機を設定、操作し、湿った粘土から陶磁器を成形する
• 粘土に水を混ぜて練り、陶磁器製造に適した可塑状態や半液状にする機械を操作する
• 陶器、磁器、れんが、タイルを焼成する窯を操作し、監視する
