主な業務
- 乗車券、定期券、運賃を集めて発行し、すでに発行された乗車券が有効かを確認する
- 旅客列車で寝台車と乗客の世話をする
- 必要に応じて、特に高齢者、病人、けが人の乗車、着席、手荷物を手伝う
- 乗客のためにドアを開閉する
- 出発前に設備の安全点検を行う
- 運転士に停止や発車の合図を送る
- 乗り込む乗客を迎え、路線や停車駅をアナウンスする
- 安全規則が守られるようにする
- 乗客の要望や苦情に対応し、停車駅や乗り継ぎの情報を提供する
