主な業務

掘削リグと補助機器を解体、移動し、組み立てる
パイプ、ケーシング、ドリルヘッドを組み立て、解体し、不具合のある機器を交換する
制御装置を操作してドリルパイプやケーシングを井戸に下ろし、引き上げ、井戸内の圧力を調整し、工具の速度を制御する
掘削流体を準備し、ポンプの動作を確認して、ドリルパイプと井戸内で流体が十分に循環するようにする
計器などの表示を監視し、機器の音を聞いて不具合や井戸の異常を見つけ、掘削方法や機器の変更の必要性を判断する
掘削リグ、巻上げ機などの機械を保守、調整、修理、清掃する
掘削・保守作業の記録をつける
機械と工具を操作し、穴や井戸から粉じん、掘りくず、紛失・破損した掘削機器を取り出す
使われなくなった井戸を閉鎖し、密閉する
作業員を監督し、指導する
