How to become one
You usually need experience to become an information technology helpdesk and support technician and a qualification may be useful. You usually need NCEA Level 3 to do the study or training for this job. Other requirements: experience in similar work; a relevant tertiary qualification in computer science, information systems or similar area; knowledge of computer software and hardware.
