- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises

- Assess patients' physical abilities
- Monitor and record patient progress

How to become one
You usually need experience to become a physiotherapy assistant. You usually need NCEA Level 3 to do the study or training for this job. Other requirements: experience in similar work; to pass a police check; a First Aid Certificate.
