Concrete form worker builds, assembles, places in position and dismantles rough wooden structures (shuttering) into which concrete is poured and allowed to set. He/she marks out, cuts and adjusts wood to be assembled in shuttering partitions or assembles shuttering from prefabricated wooden parts.
Main tasks
- Constructing and repairing reinforced concrete floors, walls, tanks, silos and other concrete structures
- Making shuttering or assembling pre-fabricated forms for moulding concrete
