Confinement nanny performs neonatal care such as feeding, nursing, and changing diapers, clothes, and bedding. He/she provides advice on postpartum contractions, lochia observation and ensures a healthy environment for both mother and baby by preparing nutritious meals, practicing maternal healthcare, and performing basic domestic services such as sweeping and mopping. He/she may monitor the baby’s development such as by regular measurement of the baby’s body temperature, height and weight.
