Electrical engineering technician performs technical tasks, normally under the direction of an electrical engineer, contributory to design, development, construction, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment. He/she exercises technical supervision and control to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards, and gives technical guidance to workers engaged in manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment.
