How to become a Lifeguard
Also called: Beach guard, Pool lifeguard, Beach guard, Pool lifeguard
Lifeguard looks after the safety of people at beaches or swimming pools through accident prevention and rescue and educates the public on water safety. He/she monitors and ensures safety in the aquatic facility by preventing and responding to any emergencies. He/she identifies potential risks, advises individuals on proper behaviour and dangerous zones, and conducts life-saving techniques such as first aid.

- Patrolling beaches and swimming pools to prevent accidents and to rescue bathers from drowning
