Media/Broadcasting operations technician installs, starts up, maintains, monitors and repairs equipment used for the transmission and reception of broadcast signals. He/she ensures that all materials are available in a suitable format of transmittable quality according to the transmission deadline.
Main tasks
- Applying knowledge of principles and practices of image and sound recording and editing in order to identify and solve problems
- Controlling transmitting and broadcast systems and satellite systems for radio and television programmes
