How to become a Mover
Also called: Company mover, Corporate mover, Furniture mover, Industrial mover, Mover helper, Relocation mover, Mover helper, Relocation mover
Mover physically hands goods and belongings to be relocated or transported from one place to the other. He/she disassembles goods, machinery or belongings for transportation and assembles or installs them in the new location. He/she also ensures that objects are well protected and packed, secured and placed correctly in transport.
Main tasks
- Packing office or household furniture, machines, appliances and related goods to be transported from one place to another
- Carrying goods to be loaded on or unloaded from vans, trucks, wagons, ships, or aircraft
