Port/Shipping operations supervisor supervises port and shipping operations and activities. He/she oversees the planning and sequencing of the loading and unloading of cargo from ships, the placement of cargo in the yard and the lashing operations. He/she monitors a ship schedule and its status before arrival at the ports, the delivery and re-delivery notices for ships and arranges for hire payments.
