Youth work professional supports the development of youths into well-adjusted and contributing members of society. He/she provides interventions and programmes to youths. He/she develops and implements case work, group work and community development activities and programmes. He/she guides and supports youths in their personal, social and educational development. He/she may also provide oversight of the organisation’s youth outreach and engagement efforts, and supervision and mentorship to other youth workers.
