Bank tellers and related clerks receive, pay out and exchange money, or accept mail, in banks or post offices.
Main tasks
- Process customer cash deposits and withdrawals, transfers, credit card payments, money orders and other banking transactions
- Check customer loan accounts
- Make payments and exchange foreign currency at customers' request
- Keep records of all transactions
- Accept mail, sell stamps and handle post office counter savings, remittances and related services
