Researches, analyses and recommends strategies for network architecture, develops, implements and configures network hardware and software, and monitors and fixes network problems to improve performance.
Main tasks
- Research, analyse and recommend network architecture, data models and diagrams
- Research, evaluate and monitor network infrastructure, recommend improvements to network operation, and integrate software, hardware, communications and operating systems
- Provide specialist expertise to resolve network problems and emergencies; install, configure, test and manage new or upgraded networks, servers and workstations
