Main tasks

• Operate machines that reduce woollen rags to fibre and blend textile fibres into uniform mixtures
• Operate drawing machines that combine several slivers into slivers of almost uniform weight and thickness
• Operate machines that make yarn from roving or sliver
• Clean and open textile fibres into sliver and combine slivers into laps
• Make thread and yarn from roving and improve its smoothness and strength
