Rubber products machine operators operate machines that knead and blend rubber and rubber compounds, or make rubber parts and products from natural and synthetic rubber, such as footwear, household goods, insulation, industrial fittings, and tyres for bicycles, cars, tractors, aircraft and other vehicles.
Main tasks
- Operate machines to knead, compound and mix rubber for further processing
- Operate machines to make rubber sheet or structural rubber products
- Mould synthetic rubber or vulcanise rubber into shape
- Make standard tyres, vulcanise tyres, and mould or retread used tyres
