Official title: Shop Salespersons
Shop sales workers sell goods and explain after-sales service directly to businesses, organisations and the public in wholesale and retail shops. Workers who supervise shop sales staff, or who run a retail shop while also selling, are also included.
Main tasks
- Recommend suitable goods and prices to meet customer needs, and explain each product's uses, operation and warranty period
- Order stock for sale and carry out stocktakes
- Display, sell and wrap goods, and take payment
- Supervise and coordinate sales staff, cashiers and other workers in wholesale and retail outlets such as convenience stores, hypermarkets and department stores
