主要任務
- 審閱圖紙、手冊和規格說明，確定合適的方法和工序
- 按精密公差裝配零件和/或金屬部件，製造飛機發動機
- 更換髮動機部件或整臺發動機，並安裝和測試飛機上的電氣和電子元件及系統
- 檢查機身和飛機部件，包括起落架、液壓系統和除冰裝置，以發現磨損、裂紋、斷裂、洩漏或其他問題
- 維護、修理和重建飛機結構、功能部件和零件
- 儲存完整的維修日誌
如何入行
入職者通常擁有GCSE/S grades或BTEC/SQA證書。設有3級工程維修學徒制。NVQ/SVQ設有2級和3級。
