成为法官需要多项资格和经验。修读这一职业所需的学习或培训需要University Entrance。必备条件:法学学士;通过专业法律研究课程;新西兰法律教育委员会颁发的结业证书;新西兰律师协会出具的品格证明;获准列入新西兰高等法院出庭律师与事务律师名册;新西兰律师协会颁发的执业证书;7年事务律师或出庭律师的经验;熟悉新西兰法律。其他要求:通过警方背景审查。
