Makes high end carbon products such as carbon fibre, carbon felt, speciality graphite, carbon carbon composites, graphene and battery anode materials.
Main tasks
- Pre oxidising, carbonising, surface treating and sizing precursor fibre to make carbon fibre
- Weaving carbon fibre fabrics, or making graphite fibre in graphitising furnaces
- Pre oxidising and carbonising felt to make carbon felt and cloth and laminating and bonding layers
- Making activated carbon fibre and carbon fibre composites
- Making speciality graphite by deposition densification, impregnation and high temperature treatment
- Kneading and rolling into sheets, then milling again into powder and forming
- Grinding speciality graphite powder and anode material after baking, impregnation, rebaking and graphitising
- Preparing graphene with reactors, centrifuges, freeze dryers and other equipment
- Inspecting all kinds of speciality material products
- Maintaining equipment, clearing faults and keeping production records
