Produces alcohols, aldehydes, acids and other aliphatic derivatives by reacting hydrocarbons or their derivatives with ammonia, oxygen, hydrogen, chlorine, carbon monoxide and other raw materials.
Main tasks
- Carrying out substitution, addition, oxidation, reduction and other reactions in reactors to make products
- Separating and purifying the reaction mixture with distillation columns, absorption towers, compressors and other equipment
- Starting up and shutting down the plant with instruments and automatic controls, diagnosing incidents and responding to emergencies, and keeping the plant running safely, cleanly and continuously
