Main tasks
- Cleaning, scraping, salting and drying animal intestines with tools to make salted or dried casings
- Operating grinders, cookers and other equipment to grind, extract, render and purify bones or fat into industrial or edible fats
- Operating separating and drying equipment to process bone, blood and hides into bone meal, blood meal, peptone and other industrial or food products
- Operating processing equipment to turn bone, blood and offal into animal feed
- Measuring quality during processing by sight or with instruments and controlling process settings
