Grows and harvests aquatic plants in ponds, fields, on raft frames and in other settings.

- Checking, repairing, cleaning and disinfecting ponds, rafts and other facilities, equipment and tools
- Choosing and transporting seedlings and planting or transplanting them
- Watching growth, dividing plants, clearing weeds and unwanted algae and preventing pests and diseases
- Mixing and applying fertiliser, adjusting water depth and controlling water quality
- Harvesting aquatic plants and counting, packing and transporting them
- Sorting, drying and doing first processing of aquatic plants
