Produces cellulose diacetate flake for cigarette filters with special equipment and recovers and purifies dilute acetic acid.
Main tasks
- Grinding rolls of wood pulp into pulp with grinding equipment
- Pretreating pulp and preparing mixed acid crystals
- Operating acetylation and hydrolysis equipment to react pulp with mixed acid and then ripen the material
- Operating precipitating, washing and pressing equipment to precipitate the slurry, wash flake and remove water
- Drying flake with dryers and other equipment
- Preparing magnesium acetate and other catalysts
- Making acetic anhydride, recovering acetic acid and treating wastewater with cracking, distilling and extraction units
- Taking samples for analysis, checking operations and monitoring, recording and adjusting process settings
