Operates filtering, heat exchange, evaporation, distillation, extraction and other chemical process equipment to process materials.
Main tasks
- Processing materials with filtering, centrifuging, evaporating, heat exchange, extraction, distillation, adsorption, absorption, crystallising and drying equipment
- Controlling temperature, pressure, flow and other settings to keep product quality
- Making solid granular products with mixers, screens and granulators
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment and spotting and dealing promptly with problems and faults
- Recording and filing production data
