Improves coal quality with pyrolysis kilns, drying kilns, quench towers, coolers and other equipment.
Main tasks
- Feeding coal into drying kilns with screening and conveying equipment and controlling temperature, pressure and moisture to make dried coal
- Feeding dried coal into pyrolysis kilns for low temperature pyrolysis and adjusting temperature, pressure and other settings to make upgraded coal
- Separating gas, tar and dust with cooling and separating equipment
- Removing carbon dioxide and sulphur compounds from gas with desulphurisation equipment
- Activating upgraded coal with cooling systems to make upgraded coke powder
- Inspecting and maintaining equipment and spotting and dealing promptly with problems and faults
- Recording and filing production data
