Produces films for display screens by solution or melt methods using casting or biaxial stretching equipment.
Main tasks
- Dissolving polymer raw materials, or crystallising and drying them
- Making film on casting or stretching machines under controlled temperature, humidity and cleanliness
- Coating the film and winding it up
- Testing the film's physical, chemical and optical properties
- Slitting and rewinding film and packing the finished product
- Checking and maintaining equipment regularly and spotting and clearing problems and faults quickly
- Keeping production records and the related data
