Runs specialist equipment and kilns to make blanks, make and apply enamel and fire enamel products.
Main tasks
- Running special kilns to melt enamel raw materials at high temperature
- Turning the melted materials into enamel frit
- Grinding frit into dry enamel powder in ball mills or mixing it into slip
- Working sheet metal with equipment
- Pressing blank parts into shape with presses
- Welding enamel blanks and matching parts together with equipment or machines
- Applying enamel to blank surfaces by machine or by hand and firing them in the kiln into finished products
- Spraying patterns and designs onto blank surfaces with tools
