Assembles and tests film and educational projection equipment such as film cameras, film projectors, overhead projectors and slide projectors with instruments, special tools and equipment, and makes special lenses and accessories.
Main tasks
- Assembling and adjusting projectors and similar equipment with specialist equipment, tooling and instruments
- Testing and adjusting electrical specifications with resistance meters, withstand voltage testers, earth resistance testers and earth leakage testers
- Testing and adjusting image performance with instruments, special tools and equipment
- Cutting, sewing and joining screens with specialist equipment and tools, then coating or spraying them with reflective material
- Recording assembly, testing and adjustment and maintaining equipment and instruments
