Designs the processes for making clothing, researches, develops and applies production techniques, manages production and gives technical guidance.
Main tasks
- Researching, developing and applying new processes and technology for making clothing
- Setting process standards, quality standards and worker operating procedures for fabrics, trims, part finished and finished products, and adjusting process settings during sample making
- Designing the production process for garments and guiding production
- Supervising production, analysing and solving technical problems and controlling product quality
- Upgrading production equipment and handling its installation, repair, testing and acceptance
