Organises public auction trading of grain and edible oil at a grain and oil trading centre.
Main tasks
- Meeting clients and discussing buying and selling
- Checking clients' eligibility, setting up and sorting their files and drafting agency contracts
- Recording the quantity, quality, storage and transport of consigned goods on computer
- Meeting clients taking part in trading and explaining the parties and lots, dates, methods, deposits, prices and other terms
- Preparing trading materials and setting up the trading floor
- Running trading, maintaining the trading system and managing the trading floor
- Passing on deal confirmations and other papers, checking and counting results, and filing deal contracts by type
- Preparing summary and detailed reports of deals and settling consigned trades
