Uses specialist tools and test instruments to install, configure and set up Internet of Things devices and products.
Main tasks
- Checking the quality of connected devices, sensing modules and control modules
- Assembling devices and their accessories
- Wiring up device circuits
- Connecting devices to each other and to the network
- Adjusting how far apart devices are installed and improving the network layout
- Setting parameters for gateways and short range transmission modules
- Preventing and fixing network failures and dropouts so products and the network keep working
