Patrols, monitors and inspects the environment in a nature reserve, collects management data, and keeps in touch with nearby communities.
Main tasks
- Monitoring the reserve's plants and animals and changes in weather, water and soil, and recording and reporting them
- Checking and managing people and vehicles entering and leaving the reserve
- Teaching fire safety and conservation and guiding how visitors behave
- Maintaining facilities and equipment in the reserve
- Getting to know the reserve and nearby communities, sharing information and giving advice
