Also called: Trichlorosilane Reduction Operator, Trichlorosilane Synthesis Operator, Silicon Etching Operator, Polysilicon Finishing Operator, Silicon Tetrachloride Hydrogenation Operator, Silane Process Polysilicon Operator, Trichlorosilane and Silicon Tetrachloride Purification Operator
Operates synthesis furnaces, distillation columns, reduction reactors and other equipment to produce high purity polysilicon.
Main tasks
- Making trichlorosilane in synthesis furnaces
- Separating high purity trichlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride in distillation columns
- Unloading polysilicon from reactors, cleaning reduction reactors and fitting the internal parts
- Depositing polysilicon onto heated silicon slim rods in reduction reactors
- Recovering reactor off gas and separating chlorosilanes, hydrogen chloride and high purity hydrogen
- Etching, cleaning and drying contaminated polysilicon
- Testing polysilicon for electrical properties, minority carrier lifetime and impurity levels
- Converting silicon tetrachloride into trichlorosilane in hydrogenation reactors
- Crushing, sorting and packing silicon rods
- Maintaining equipment, clearing faults and keeping production records
