Also called: Single Superphosphate Production Operator, Triple Superphosphate Production Operator
Mixes and reacts phosphate rock with sulphuric or phosphoric acid, then cures and matures it to produce superphosphate.
Main tasks
- Feeding ground phosphate rock and acid into the mixer and controlling settings so they react
- Letting the material set in the den and processing it into powder
- Stacking and turning the material with a crane so it matures into product
- Granulating and drying it into granular products
- Treating tail gas with dust removal and scrubbing equipment
- Checking and maintaining equipment regularly and spotting and clearing problems and faults quickly
- Keeping production records and the related data
