Chief product officer defines product development vision and strategy. He/she oversees and drives the development and alignment of the product roadmap with the organisation’s strategy and vision, and anticipates the impacts of external and internal business challenges and market conditions on the roadmap. He/she develops the go-to-market strategy for the products, oversees enhancements to product portfolios and the product development process. He/she establishes product branding strategies, marketing tactics, pricing and launch strategies. He/she guides development teams on issues related to product design, development and deployment, and guides the team to develop differentiated strategies across various lines of business.
