Teacher aide performs non-teaching duties to assist teaching staff, and provides care and supervision for children in schools and preschools. He/she performs duties that are instructional in nature, works closely with teachers to support the teaching and learning of preschool children, primary and secondary school students in both academic and non-academic areas.
