Official title: Accounting Professionals
Plans, manages and advises on accounting for individuals and organisations, and audits and certifies financial statements.
Main tasks
- Plan, manage, audit, liquidate and assess accounting matters on behalf of clients or as appointed by government agencies
- Audit and certify financial and tax reports, and give tax advice
- Review accounts and bookkeeping records
- Recommend and plan budgets and accounting systems
Ways in
- University department: Business & Commerce degrees, Offered by 125 universities in Taiwan
- Licence (national exam): Regulated profession. To practise as a certified public accountant you must pass the national Professional and Technical Examination (專門職業及技術人員考試) for 會計師 and hold the certificate. Listed in the annex to article 2 of the Enforcement Rules of the Professional and Technical Examinations Act, item 2.
