Carries out technical work in the design, installation, management, operation and maintenance of air traffic control and navigation systems.
Main tasks
- Carry out technical work on navigation systems and on electronic and mechanical equipment for test standards
- Provide technical support for the design of special interface circuits in navigation and route surveillance systems
- Help build, install and maintain navigation equipment to meet safety standards
- Manage and test navigation aids to make sure flight, landing and take-off operations are accurate and safe
- Calibrate navigation equipment according to route procedures
