Main tasks
- Control broadcasting and audiovisual equipment to edit and mix images, record sound and create special effects
- Control the transmission of radio and television programmes, broadcasting systems and satellite systems
- Control radio communications systems, satellite transmission and multiplex systems for land and sea vehicles and aircraft
- Apply knowledge of broadcasting, telecommunications terminals and transmission systems to identify and solve problems; make emergency repairs to broadcasting and audiovisual equipment
