Official title: Flight Attendants and Ship Stewards
Flight attendants and ship stewards provide passenger services on aircraft and ships.
Main tasks
- Greet passengers boarding and show them to their seats
- Explain and demonstrate safety and emergency procedures
- Assemble and serve prepared food and drinks, and sell duty-free goods
- Attend to passengers, answer their questions and keep the cabin clean and tidy during the journey
- Guide and help passengers to evacuate following set procedures in an emergency landing
