Main tasks

Supervise and coordinate workers extracting minerals and operating underground conveyors and heavy mining equipment
Set methods to meet work plans, and recommend ways to raise productivity to mine managers
Work with management and technical staff, other departments and contractors to solve operating problems
Give mine managers operating reports and other information on mining and quarrying
Decide the staff and supplies needed at mines and quarries
