- Prepare lesson plans that follow the curriculum guidelines
- Teach elementary school students using a range of methods and aids such as computers, books and games
- Keep order in the classroom and guide students' behaviour at school
- Assess student learning through assignment marks and test results
- Plan, organise and take part in school activities such as excursions, sports competitions and concerts
