How to become a Real Estate Agent or Property Manager

Official title: Real Estate Agents and Property Managers

Arranges the sale and rental of property.

Main tasks

• Get information on properties for sale or rent and anticipate the needs of buyers and tenants
• Show properties for sale or rent and explain the terms of sale or lease
• Arrange the signing of leases or help with the transfer of property ownership
• Inspect properties before, during and after a tenancy, and arrange cleaning and repairs on behalf of clients

Ways in

• Technical college: Technical and vocational college programme. Universities of science and technology and junior colleges run departments in related fields: business and management, other (0419). Departments in academic year 114 (2025-26): four-year technical bachelor's (四技) 19, two-year technical bachelor's (二技) 4, five-year junior college (五專) 1, two-year junior college (二專) 1. Fields matched to the occupation by Peernovo.
• Licence (national exam): Regulated profession. To practise as a real estate broker you must pass the national Professional and Technical Examination (專門職業及技術人員考試) for 不動產經紀人 and hold the certificate. Listed in the annex to article 2 of the Enforcement Rules of the Professional and Technical Examinations Act, item 26.
