汽车喷漆技术员使用现代涂料系统、涂层、车身贴膜及相关技术，对车辆表面进行处理、修补和重新喷涂，以恢复或提升车辆的外观、防护性能和功能。
主要任务
- 贴上遮蔽材料保护无需喷涂的部位，并拆下外部配件
- 查阅车辆颜色代码，选择合适的油漆或调配油漆，以达到所需的稠度和颜色
- 使用手动或静电喷枪喷涂表面，并根据需要调整喷嘴和压力阀
- 在车身上粘贴乙烯基贴纸和车身贴膜
- 喷涂完成后去除遮蔽材料，并重新安装外部配件
- 清洁和维护喷涂设备、防护服和喷漆房
如何入行
没有正式的学历入职要求，但部分雇主可能要求GCSE/S grades或同等资格。提供脱产和在职培训。也设有NVQ/SVQ 2级和3级的学徒制，需要三到四年完成。
