- Determines the appropriate grades and slopes for the construction project
- Operates and controls a grader to spread and level materials such as soil, gravel and asphalt on construction sites
- Monitors and adjusts the grader's speed and blade position to achieve desired results
- Performs routine maintenance tasks on the grader, such as cleaning and lubricating
