How to become a Landscape Gardener
Also called: Landscape Construction Worker
Interprets plans and drawings to construct garden landscapes, hardscape structures and garden beds.
Main tasks
- Interprets plans and drawings to construct garden landscapes
- Constructs hardscape structures such as gravel and paved walking areas, walls, fences, pergolas, ponds, barbecues and garden furniture
- Prepares seedbeds and growing sites for planting of softscapes such as tree plants, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs
- Plants trees, bushes, hedges, flowers and bulbs
- Prepares lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass or by laying instant turf
