Signs and promotes performers, shows, artworks and other cultural products in the arts market.
Main tasks
- Analysing audience types and spread with knowledge of the arts, choosing shows and negotiating contracts
- Costing shows, assessing risk, scheduling, booking venues, setting ticket prices and marketing for each type of show and organising ticket sales
- Judging performers' potential and prospects and arranging training, image and promotion and career planning for signed performers
- Drawing up safety plans for shows, organising security and dealing with emergencies involving performers and shows
- Forecasting market changes with knowledge of art and Chinese and world art history and handling exhibitions, auctions and sales of artworks
