Puts up and maintains telecoms lines and antenna feeders, and installs and maintains structured cabling and broadband connections.

- Putting up or laying copper cable, fibre optic cable, antenna feeders and other transmission lines
- Inspecting and maintaining transmission lines
- Finding, diagnosing and repairing line faults
- Testing, analysing and recording line transmission quality
- Installing, setting up and maintaining customer cabling and devices and activating services
- Checking and signing off the quality of transmission line and structured cabling work
